Your legacy will make a lasting difference
We are incredibly thankful to individuals who remember us in their will. Those that kindly leave East Cheshire Eye Society a gift in their will (legacies) make a huge difference to the charity and local people affected by sight loss. Much of the work we do has been funded by legacies and we wouldn’t be able to reach as many people or offer the variety of services we do without support through legacies.
You might have experienced our sight loss services yourself or know someone who has benefited from our support. Alternatively, you might not have experienced our services directly but you want to help a charity to make a difference for local people with visual impairments. We are extremely thankful to receive a gift to East Cheshire Eye Society within wills. Any amount which you are able to leave as a legacy to East Cheshire Eye Society will help us to continue our work.

Making or adjusting your will
A will ensures that your legacy and hard earned assets are received and allocated as you want them to be. When you give to a charity within your will the gift is free of inheritance tax. Therefore, your full gift will go to the charity rather than a large percentage going to tax.
